Lloyds Online Doctor - Refresh a market leading pharma company website to strengthen their position, improve overall customer experience and gain new brand advocates.

A New Vision

In January 2014 I was engaged by Lloyds Online Doctor to help redesign their current ecommerce website. Working with the internal team headed up by Souleyman Camara and Fraser Wood I first created a concept for the redesign as part of my interview and then once hired proceeded to work on the site in earnest. The transformation was extraordinary and the users loved the new look and feel of the site. I got to work in Agile for the first time and in Sprints. I loved it! Since then I carried the methodology into all future projects refreshing my knowledge from time to time with the fantastic book by Jake Knapp.

Working in this way ideas were explored and tested rapidly. We got to work through numerous versions of pages and elements so they could be tested. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dr Souleyman Camara and learning so many incredible UX lessons. By the end of my time with Lloyds Online Doctor I was able to plan user journeys, create user stories, conduct interviews and research, create interactive wireframes and prototypes. It’s safe to say I was hooked. When I left their new junior designer was able to take over from the guidelines I had set and after working with me for a few months had the solid foundation to take the project further and be their in house designer.
